Knapp Creek Farm is a 36 acre family run farm located just outside Westby, Wisconsin in the Driftless Region. Our farm is a combination of fields, pastures and woods. We are nestled in beautiful Knapp Valley, protected by hillsides covered with oak, pine and maple forests. Knapp Creek, a bubbly, refreshing trout stream, runs right through our property. We see a variety of wildlife on our farm including many species of song birds, deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, eagles, fox and beavers.
Our main field is a 6 acre field, which is farmed organically. 2 acres are in annual vegetable crops while the rest is in hay/corn. We also have other parts of our farm dedicated to perennial crops such as strawberries, raspberries and asparagus.
Our pastures are located in grassy hillside areas, with some access to woods and water.
